Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
Your city traffic department is conducting a survey to bring in revolutionary changes in the traffic management. The department has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents feel about the given options
Traffic Management Survey :
Option A: Department should issue more tickets with heavy plenties.
Option B: Department should Organise traffic awareness programmes on a regular basis.
First of all, thanks for conducting a survey of this kind. It is very appreciated that the traffic department considers what the residents think about such an important subject. From my point of view, I firmly believe that the option of organizing traffic awareness programs makes much more sense than simply increasing the number of tickets. In my opinion as a driver, I think that we have to learn much more in order to educate us as smart drivers and forget old bad habits. We need to know about what we are doing incorrectly and which conducts avoid when we are on the streets. In this regard, information about, statics, scientific studies, and other analytics can help us to understand what is going on in our society as drivers, bikers, and pedestrians. On the other hand, issuing more tickets is only punishing mistakes without contributing to our education as members of the traffic system.
