Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
Your city is planning to develop new sports complex. The city has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents would like to have built-in that area.
Sports Complex development survey:
Option A: Athletic tracks and sports complex: Sports complex will mainly provide facility to Athletes.
Option B: Baseball ground: Authorities will develop ground with a good sitting capacity.
While I recognize that building athletic tracks might be a great decision, I believe that city should create more baseball grounds because it will promote a healthy lifestyle for residents, including children, men and women. Firstly, having a baseball ground will help people transform their way of living. As a father of 4 years old, I noticed that our town doesn't have many places for our kids to play baseball. Moreover, if we built a giant stadium with plenty of seats, families could gather together and support the game. Therefore, it will not only positively impact people's mental health but also improve their mental stability and happiness levels. Another reason is that having a good baseball ground will allow the city to be a host of the national Olympics. Just imagine the city bustling with many visitors during the game season. This means that the city's economy will jump high, and residents and communities will benefit from it. In summary, since there is a chance to make positive changes to the resident's wellness and the city's economy, I strongly believe that building a baseball ground will be a fantastic choice.
