Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
You live in a city where the air pollution has crossed the safety limits . The local administration is planning to make air purifiers compulsory in all the buildings and has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents would like to say on this issue.
Option A: Air purifiers should be made compulsory for all buildings.
Air pollution control Survey:
Option B: Alternative actions should be taken.
To Whom it may concern. Many individuals nurture this belief that air purifiers had better make mandatory in all the buildings in the city as the air quality deteriorated over the safety line, whereas, others suggest adopting other measures to tackle this problem. I, personally, side with the former ideology and several arguments surround my opinion. This essay will discuss why air purifiers are far more effective than opting for other alternatives. There are various advantages of using air purifiers. Firstly, this air cleaning equipment curtails the amount of obnoxious gases pumped out from most of the buildings into the environments but purifies the outside air, which enters the premises of that building. Secondly, reducing the effect of chlorofluorocarbons, which are spewed out by the air conditioners, to dwindle the ozone layer depletion and global warming. Consequently, the low -lying areas will be out of the danger of submersion in the floods. Finally, building these refiners around all the buildings enable inhabitants less prone to health hazards such as respiratory problems, eye irritation and skin concerns that emanate from the air degradation. Hence, these refiners make the city people more healthy, productive and contented. Nonetheless, it is not for nothing that alternative actions are required to facilitate the air pollution dispute. Opponents cite why the cost of installing this project would be huge compared to planting trees in the city. Moreover, laving congestion tax would be result in fewer vehicles plying on the road, which can reduce the air pollution. For instance, In London, exerting congestion tax on drivers in the rush hours helps authorities facilitate the air deformation issue. In conclusion, after pondering over the above -stated information, it is quite evident that installing air purifiers in all buildings has much better outcomes because these would act as a deterrent for CCF's to enter the air. It will also reduce the risk of health disorders for residents, which may cause due to excessive air degradation. However, alternative steps are also useful, but time-consuming in arresting this alarming trend. Regards Thomas.
