Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
A local NGO working for the betterment of school-going kids, especially focusing on reducing the stress level in the new generation has sent out an opinion survey to see what people think about the presence of multimedia gadgets in house.
NGO conducting a survey:
Option A: Kids should have no access to gadgets like smartphones or iPad etc..
Option B: Kids should be encouraged to read books in their free time.
Personally, I believe that in today's era everybody become techno-savvy. According to my way of thinking, teenagers should not have access to electronic equipment such as smartphones and tablets before the right age. Even though kids should be read books in their spare time is not a bad idea. The first and foremost reason is that if kids spend the most time on electronic gadgets, it will be very harmful to their health. For example, eyesight week, tiredness etcetera. Apart from this, they will watch porn videos before the right age and also learn a bad language. Secondly, If they have smartphones, they will perform poorly in their studies because they spend most time chatting with friends and playing varieties of games. For example, last month, my nephew was failed in 8th grade because his parents gave him a phone at an early age he spends almost time playing on the video games. Considering these two reasons, I believe that kids should not be allowed smartphones. Parents should allow only that phone where they can only give and receive calls. Anyways, these are my personal views. I will support whatever NGO decided to do. Thank you for giving me a chance to provide my views on this issue.
