Writing Task 1: Writing an Email

Read the following information.

Last Monday you flew from Toronto to Quebec. When you arrived home, you discovered that you had left your cabin bag on the plane

Write a letter to the airline in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

  • where and when you lost your bag
  • what your bag looks like
  • what its contents were

Hi Manager, I am writing this email about cabin baggage I forgot on one of the flights of Air Canada. Last Monday, May 17th, 2021, I visited Toronto for a business meeting. I flew back to my hometown Quebec on flight number AC123. As per the schedule, the flight landed in Quebec at 9 PM. I fell asleep on board due to my hectic schedule and, in a rush, I forgot to pick up my cabin bag while de-plaining. It is an American Tourister trolley bag with four wheels. The blue coloured bag has 15 litres and is locked using the inbuilt number lock. I have also placed a visiting card in the namespace tag. I hope the descriptive details would allow you to identify my luggage. Since I had an important business meeting, there are a few company confidential documents. Other contents include a pair of formal clothes and shoes, a swiss watch and few daily need items. I would appreciate if you can search the bag and share the location detail to pick it up.
