Writing Task 1: Writing an Email

Read the following information.

You had recently ordered a book, online from a bookseller. The book sent by him was not the latest edition, even though you had paid the money according to the latest edited version.

Write an email to the bookseller in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

  • Complain about service of the online site
  • State about the urgency for the latest edition

HelloManager, Hope you're doing well, I ordered a book through the online website, it needed to be replaced or refund due to incorrect information on the website. During graduation, when we registered for the course, we are not provided with books as it is an additional cost, so we need the latest version of the subject book at the time of the assignment regarding managerial accounting. It is expensive in the university bookstore. As per friends request, I searched the McGraw website, which is famous all over the world. With the help of an online website, I purchased it on discount and benefit of the return policy. Still, unfortunately, we received an outdated version book even though I got charged the exact cost per the new version. As our assignment"s deadline is ending this month, it comprises almost 30% weightage. As per my requirement, I need a new edition of this book urgently. Awaiting your response Regards, Thomas
