Read the following information.

You were charged for items which you have not purchased at the local grocery shop.

Write a letter to the manager of the grocery shop in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

  • Describe the problem that you have faced,
  • Explain the items you have purchased,
  • Suggest what the manager should do to resolve it.

Dear Shop Owner, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my shopping experience at your shop. Yesterday evening around 7 pm I purchased few essentials at your store. I paid the bill and picked up the items, and came back home. After reaching home, I verified my bill and observed that I was charged $20 extra on the bill. While investigating, I found two items added to my bill that I did not purchase. I bought three items which are carrot, fresh beans and fuji apples. But I could see cauliflower and sweet potatoes added to the bill. Due to this, I have been charged $20 extra. As I used my prepaid gift card worth $50 while returning home, I tried to purchase a toy for my son. Unfortunately, my card got declined, and I could not purchase a gift for my son. It created an embarrassing situation at the shop and disappointed my son. As compensation I would like you to refund the excess amount and issue a discount at your store on my next purchase.
