Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
Your city is planning to develop a new sports complex. The city has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents would like to have built-in that area.
Option A: Athletic tracks and supports Complex: Sports complex will mainly provide facilities to Athletes.
Sports Complex development survey:
Option B: Baseball ground: Authorities will develop ground with a good sitting capacity
I would like to opine in favor of option B which is to develop the baseball ground with a good sitting capacity as this seems to be a far better and convincing choice for me. Though developing the athletic track and support complex is equally appealing, I would present a couple of reasons to substantiate my argument. To begin with, there are two primary reasons why option B is more advantageous than option A. Firstly, it will encourage baseball players; people can train and develop their skills on this ground. For example, this ground can be used for a small competition amongst the baseball players to practice, and observe their strengths and weakness. Secondly, it will encourage supporters. Indeed, developing baseball ground with a good capacity has been increasingly important and effective in the 2000s because it provides room for praising one's favourite players. Considering these reasons, developing a baseball ground would be more worthy than developing the athletic tracks and support complex that would mainly provide facilities to the athletes.
