Writing Task 1: Writing an Email

Read the following information.

Last week you had travelled in a domestic airline due to some business. You did not have a good experience with that airline. The discontentment, due to the poor service, made you complain about the airline.

Write an email to the Airline in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

  • Problems faced by regular passengers
  • Complain about the poor service

HI Air Canada Manager, My name is Thomas. I am writing this email to bring your attention to the poor quality service I encountered during my vacation to Toronto, Canada. It was a great disappointment to me. Let me explain to you in more detail. I boarded on your domestic airline to Toronto for my brother's 21st birthday. The boarding process was stressful as we were all asked to submit our passport and be in a queue for 2 hours before we could get on the plane. Upon arriving on the flight, I order a cold drink and a biscuit. The flight attendant took almost 3 hours to bring my order without an apology for me late for so long. In addition to my request, I was served a hot drink and expired biscuit. The juice and biscuit caused a stomach upset for me, and I started using the washroom. I would strongly recommend you conduct a training section for all your flight attendants. It will help your reputable airline to avoid bad rating from customers. Best regards, Thomas
