Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
You live in a small city. A local internet service provider is planning to launch 5G technology in your area. Company is conducting survey to know public opinion
Telecommunication company survey:
Option A: Company should launch 5G for better communication services.
Option B: Introduction of 5G means more expensive internet services.
To whom it may concern, I am writing this mail for the options to internet service to be provided by the service provider. In my opinion, option A is the optimal choice of the two presented. I certainly believe that the new technology will act as a catalyst for the city's economic growth. There are certain companies which need a high-speed internet for their business and because of the missing facility in our city these companies opt for other options. If the facilities are available in our city, these companies will consider our city into consideration. Not to mention that new business will bring new jobs, business profits to small vendors and an economic boom. However, the new technology may seem uneconomical initially, but it will provide optimal benefits to the citizens very soon. On the contrary, if we continue the existing service, there will not be any change in the existing system, and our small city will remain the same. In conclusion, I have chosen option A as the target for internet service. I am of the view that the new technology will provide sufficient aspects of growth to the residents. Regards, Thomas
