Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
Your city is planning to develop new sports complex. The city has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents would like to have built-in that area.
Sports Complex development survey:
Option A: Athletic tracks and supports Complex: Sports complex will mainly provide facilities to Athletes.
Option B: Baseball ground: Authorities will develop ground with a good sitting capacity
To Whom it may concern. I recently found out that the city has announced plans to develop a new sports complex in our town centre. Whereas the baseball ground is an attractive option, I feel that the Athletic tracks and Sports Complex are tremendous plans. One crucial reason why athletic tracks are preferable is that they would significantly improve athletes' athletic performance. Furthermore, it will encourage the runner to practice more, and if they have a space to train, the result will come. Moreover, it is essential to build the athletic tracks because they can suffer injuries if they practice on hard surfaces. Also, the schools can bring children to the Complex for physical education. On the other hand, the baseball ground would not be an ideal option because it already has a large sitting capacity and offer residence with opportunity to meet their needs. Building additional sittings would therefore be a waste of money. In conclusion, considering the reasons above, I believe that the city should build the town's athletic tracks because it would improve the level of performance and would not be a waste of budget.
