Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
Your city is planning to develop new sports complex. The city has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents would like to have built-in that area.
Sports Complex development survey:
Option A: Athletic tracks and supports Complex: Sports complex will mainly provide facilities to Athletes.
Option B: Baseball ground: Authorities will develop ground with a good sitting capacity
To whom it may concern I want to thank you for considering our opinion regarding this critical facility. I strongly agree that option B would be the most reasonable choice for our community. Initially, a baseball game is a very charming event for most of the people in our neighbourhood. As a part of this society for more than ten years, I would mention that people are keen on watching and playing baseball. For instance, my neighbour Jake and his little son John is a massive fan of watching baseball. Even Jake uses his summer holiday breaks to follow that game. However, they have to spend approximately 3 hours on the way to reach the nearest playground area. Unfortunately, not all people are as lucky as Jack to have a car. Therefore, it takes more than 4 hours by using the public transfer to participate in that game. Additionally, we have lots of youngsters who are very ambitious to play baseball. They are trying to practice by themself. However, having this facility would be an excellent opportunity for them to shape be adequately prepared. All the above reasons considered, I genuinely believe that you will choose the most logical option for our small community to ease their life. Regards Tony
