Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
You are working in a company offering IT services. Your company is conducting a survey to know ways to improve the working environment. There are two options :
Option A:Give a salary hike to all the employees on the basis of experience.
Job satisfaction survey :
Option B: Give a salary hike to all the employees on the basis of educational qualification.
To whom it may concern. The survey orienting salary hike is always spreading positivity in any company. But criteria of giving the hike is critical. I personally favour that it shall be based upon the productivity rather than the academic accolades. To support this, take the example of structuring any new team, which is totally formed based upon teammates' experience, to produce better results to the clientele collectively. Having rich experience of handling clients and meeting to their project requirements can be well measured only by how efficiently an employee had worked and what were the challenges he faced on the way. If the employee is appraised based upon their contribution to the company, they feel motivated & gear up more challenging responsibilities. Thus, the appraisal shall be performance/experience-based rather than the academic credentials.
