Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
A local NGO working for the betterment of school going kids, especially focusing on reducing the stress level in the new generation has sent out an opinion survey to see what people think about the presence of multimedia gadgets in house.
NGO Conducting a Survey :
Option A: Kids should have no access to gadgets like smartphones or iPads etc.
Option B: Kids should be encouraged to read books in their free time.
Greetings, Mr.Boon; Your NGO 'Helping Hands" does tremendous work for school-going kids, I admire your unique service that mainly focused on stress-less environments amongst children. In response to your opinion survey, I would not be in favor of banning the new age gadgets like smartphones, iPad, laptops, etc. I understand the adverse effects of the internet and smart devices, but on the contrary, these instruments are essential now; it transforms our whole lifestyle; it is now part of our daily life. from home to the office, booking a cab to book a train or flight tickets, socializing with friends to entertainment; it is everywhere. course the education system is also not an exception. In my view multimedia gadgets are beneficial for students of all ages, there are numerous online teaching classes, and technology would help students such as; graphics and animation may help them understand concepts more precisely; non-stop problem-solving support on online teaching portals; manage schedules and notes; and many more. Considering all positive aspects I recommend access to Multimedia Gadgets should continue. Thanks and Regards J.Khan
