Writing Task 1: Writing an Email

Dear Insurance manager, Last summer, my partner and I visited Jamaica for our vacation. I recently got engaged and was wearing a 14 carrot, white gold, heart-shaped diamond ring. My name, as well as my spouse's names, were engraved on it. Unfortunately, I lost the ring; however, I have travel insurance to cover the cost of lost items. It still is unclear how I lost it but based on my recollection, I was swimming in the pool, and when I came out of the water, I noticed that the ring was missing. I search the entire area, even inside of the pool, and it was to no avail. My partner and I invested a lot into this ring and would like a replacement. We had this ring custom made and would like the same jeweller to make it. Although it is impossible to get back the same ring, perhaps, getting back the same ring would provide us with similar sentimental attachments. I look forward to a positive response. Regards, Sam.
