Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
You live in a small town of 10,000 people. A large green area in the centre of town is undeveloped. The city has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents would like to have built in that area.
Option A: Shopping Complex: This shopping mall would include restaurants, a large supermarket, and a movie theatre.
City Development Survey :
Option B: Recreational Park: This park would include a sports complex, a large green area, and a small petting zoo.
Personally, I think the shopping complex would be a better choice. Even though the recreational park is a good idea, the shopping complex would offer more practical benefits to the community. Putting up the shopping complex would be more convenient for all residents because all their necessities and wants would be available in just one area. For example, they can have their groceries and buying some kinds of stuff for their house. In addition, they can also have relaxation or entertainment during the weekends for the family bonding like watching the movies in the cinema or simply have a spa and massage. Moreover, we can also put a small petting zoo inside the shopping complex in order to give the residents an overall exceptional experience in one site Considering these reasons, I believe that Shopping complex would be a better choice. Everyone in the community would be overjoyed. Just want to say that these are my personal opinions but I will standby whatever decision is taken by the authorities. I am thankful for allowing me to add my inputs on the given issue.
