Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
Your city traffic department is conducting a survey to bring in revolutionary changes in the traffic management. The department has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents feel about the given options
Traffic Management Survey :
Option A: Department should issue more tickets with heavy plenties.
Option B: Department should Organise traffic awareness programmes on a regular basis.
To whom it may concern I think that the traffic Department should organise traffic awareness programmes regularly rather than issuing more tickets with heavy plenties. Because if we want revolutionary changes in traffic management, then Traffic awareness is a better option. The department should organise awareness camps regularly in each part of the city. If we know all the rules and regulations, then there is less chance to mistake. On the other hand, issuing more tickets with heavy plenties is also a good option, but we need to first be aware our residents about traffic rules. Then, in my opinion, after having awareness programmes it's better to make strict rules for traffic management. For example, A person who settled in the city recently does not know all the traffic rules. And he parked his vehicle in a non-parking zone about which he doesn't know. If we impose heavy plenty on him, that's not good at all. So, in the end, I would say that the first option is better. Regards Tony
