Writing Task 1: Writing an Email

Read the following information.

Last week you had travelled in a domestic airline due to some business. You did not have a good experience with that airline. The discontentment, due to the poor service, made you complain about the airline.

Write an email to the Airline in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

  • Problems faced by regular passengers
  • Complain about the poor service

Dear Sir, I am writing this email to express my dissatisfaction regarding my recent travel experience in your airlines, Air Canada. I booked a business class to Toronto from Montreal as of April 17th, which was last Friday. From the time I entered the flight until I came out of the plane, it was a pathetic experience. Firstly, the air hostess took quite a long time to settle the passengers, and they are very rude to passengers when asked for assistance. I asked for red wine, and she bluntly denied saying "No Redwine," and she is least bothered in asking for other alternatives. Even the food served was not meeting the business class standards. I realized later that this is happening across all the passengers travelling on the flight. When we raised concern about the service, they are least worried, and in fact, one of the air hostesses rudely said to choose a different airline. I am bringing this notice to you, so that appropriate action should be taken for the reputation of the airlines. And there must be a special care for the comfort of the passengers.
