Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
You are working in a company offering IT services. Your company is conducting survey to know ways to improve working environment. There are two options :
Option A:Give a salary hike to all the employees on the basis of experience.
Job satisfaction survey :
Option B: Give a salary hike to all the employees on the basis of educational qualification.
To whom it may concern, I want to thank our company, AT&T, for allowing me to express my thoughts. I firmly believe that salary increments for workers should consider based upon experience rather than a college degree. Although education represents individual knowledge and skill set, experienced employees deliver projects with less time and efficiency than lesser ones. As a result, the company can meet client requirements on time without any delay. Indeed, the company should consider salary hikes based on the job experience. Moreover, when the increment of wages considers based on experience, people will work in the same technology for the long run instead of shifting to a new domain. As a result, employees will be expertise in their working field, which gives long term benefits to themselves and the company. Therefore experience should play a significant role during salary increment. In conclusion, even though employees have higher degree qualifications, paycheck increments should be considered based on experience. Regards, Thomas
