Dear Sir, I am writing this letter about the problems faced by the general public due to changes in the public transportation system in our area. I have observed from the past one week that the bus routes have been changed. All the buses are not going through our locality; these are going directly to the main bus stops. Students and workers who take a bus to commute to their schools and workplaces are hiring cabs to reach their destination. Moreover, the number of buses has been reduced. It is challenging for the general public to afford the increased transportation fares from $3 to $5 for a single trip with the minimum wage rate of $10 per hour, determined by our provincial government. Apart from this, public vehicles remain uncleaned for so many days and give a horrible smell during travel. I want to request you to arrange for a couple of buses in my locality to go to their workplace and come back to their home on time.
