Writing Task 1: Writing an Email

Read the following information.

Last week you had travelled in a domestic airline due to some business. You did not have a good experience with that airline. The discontentment, due to the poor service, made you complain about the airline.

Write an email to the Airline in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

  • Problems faced by regular passengers
  • Complain about the poor service

Dear Manager, I want to inform you regarding my recent unfortunate experience with your airline. Unfortunately, it was not a fair amount. Thus I thought you might need to know the case. In general, like most passengers, I would say that the distance between seats isn`t adequate to settle correctly. Furthermore, even if I try to manage the situation to avoid being a rebellion, I couldn`t stand for a while due to severe back pain at the end of the flight. I was booked a ticket from Vancouver to Toronto on June 5 at 5:45 pm. However, once I arrived at the plane, I saw another person was sitting in my seat. She claimed that she had purchased the same number of seats. After a long argument, we had realized that the passenger was located in the wrong seat without checking her ticket properly. In this case, the issue is directly related to fly attendance who didn`t pay enough attention to check the ticket precisely. I hope this email helps you to consider satisfying your customers` expectations more eagerly. As a regular customer, I would like to use your airline for my other flight without witnessing this kind of negativity. Best Regards, Felix
